With hands-on experience as CEO and COO of a multi-state security company, he led a financial and cultural turnaround—driving profitability, reducing turnover, and successfully acquiring and integrating a competitor. His tenure as a business coach and consultant includes facilitating three successful business sales ranging from under $1M to $15M, equipping him with deep expertise in valuation, deal structuring, and operational optimization.
Holding an MBA from the University of Utah, Shane combines financial acumen with a people-first leadership approach. His role at Legacy River focuses on helping business owners position their companies for a high-value exit while providing investors with strategic insights into acquisition opportunities. Whether preparing a business for sale or identifying the right investment, Shane is committed to delivering clarity, strategy, and results.

Garrett Foster has spent 27 years driving growth across multiple industries. From HK Contractors to Mrs. Powell’s, Cocoa Bean, Foster Investments, Avail Valley Construction, and Prevail Legacy Builders, Garrett has been instrumental in scaling businesses and achieving exceptional success. At Avail Valley Construction, he led the company to an impressive 21x revenue growth in just five years.
Garrett’s journey has been shaped by both academic achievement and hands-on experience. He holds a business degree from BYU-Idaho and a master’s in Organizational Development from Gonzaga University. Early in his career, Garrett’s first business venture faced challenges that stemmed from a lack of systems—a learning experience that sparked his dedication to building better frameworks for success.
Drawing on this passion, Garrett worked as an internal consultant for a publicly traded company, where he collaborated with McKinsey & Company to develop systems for sustainable business growth. Combining his corporate expertise with his entrepreneurial insights, he has since created a system tailored for small businesses, helping owners achieve growth while reducing stress and regaining control of their lives.
